Chrysanthemums

Just say "mum." Chrysanthemums add brilliant color to a landscape just when it’s needed the most: late summer and fall. With container mums, you can brighten any garden, patio or outdoor area with as much color and depth as you desire. Mums are an all-time favorite for fall gardens. When planted in late summer and early fall, they provide a spectacular show of color right up until the first hard freeze of winter. Container mums are easy to care for, requiring a half-day or more of full sun. Watering is needed, being careful not to overdo it. Container mums fit well in barrels, urns, small and large containers, sitting on a deck, front step or porch. Container mums, if winterized properly, will come back in the spring to be enjoyed again and again. With the right attention, they can grow to a good shrub size. The types and colors available today make the Garden Mum one of the most versatile plants for most any type landscape design.
